The history of gin has a strong connection to Tuscany because British Master Gin Distillers have always selected Tuscan Juniper, which is considered of high quality. Ginepraio in Italian has a double meaning: it literally means grove of junipers; while, especially in Tuscany, it could also mean a mess, a complicated situation. The bottle and simple label recall the image of a surgical drip, symbolic of the origin of gin, created by a Dutch doctor in the 1600s in search of a universal cure for various diseases. This gin is an explosion of juniper, wildflower and green grass aromas. The palate is spicy (coriander) and balsamic (juniper and helichrysum), with a savory finish and hints of angelica with an almost very long aftertaste due to amphora maturation.
