Sour cherry wine is created by expertly adding sour cherries and sugar to red wine, creating a perfect combination of flavors that will enchant your taste buds. Deep ruby in color, it has an important hint of black cherry with hints of banana and cocoa spice that remains dry on the palate but with a fine bitter almond aftertaste. The Morello Austera winery in Cantiano makes its products using traditional processing methods typical of the area that leave the nutritional and taste properties unaltered. This particular wine can be enjoyed by pairing it with tarts, dry cakes, dark chocolate and blue cheeses served at a temperature of 8-10°C. It is also excellent as an aperitif served at a temperature of 4°C.
