The vines are grown on south-facing hillside soils to ensure the highest quality grapes and give the wine the distinctive Chianti characteristics. Tasting notes: Color: ruby red with lively reflections, tending to garnet. Nose: fruity (morello cherry, pomegranate) floral (dog rose), tertiary (cinnamon and licorice). Taste: dry, with an intense aftertaste of aromatic notes. Recommended food pairings: Suitable for grilled meats, cheeses, cured meats. -Wines: 85% Sangiovese, 5% Canaiolo, 8% Trebbiano Toscano and Malvasia del Chianti, 2% other red grapes.
