Chianti Sangiovese at its best.
With years in the bottle it refines further. Grapes: predominantly Sangiovese. Average vineyard age: 17-20 years. Exposure: east. Altitude: 450 mlm. Soils: marly-calcareous with strong skeleton. Fermentation: 3 weeks in stainless steel, 30% of the mass remains 4 months on the skins, temperature controlled, punching down, natural yeasts. Aging in wood: 24 months in Slavonian barrels lt. 2000 – 3000. Bottle aging: 3 months.
