For the production of onions in oil, after the product is well washed, and peeled, they are blanched for a few minutes in water, vinegar and salt, on average, for about a minute and a half. PRODUCTION TECHNIQUES: High-quality artisanal product made from freshly harvested onions. After being thoroughly washed and cleaned, the onions are blanched in water, vinegar and salt. They are squeezed, placed in jars, seasoned with oregano and covered with extra virgin olive oil. The product is pasteurized, ensuring preservation of the product. PAIRINGS: Onions in oil can be eaten as a quick appetizer, during the summer but it becomes the absolute star on toasted or roasted bread in winter on bruschetta; it can also accompany excellent main courses of meat or put in the hot dog or hamburger. HANDLING and STORAGE: Store the product away from light and heat sources in hygienic environments. Avoid tipping packages and check the condition of packages if they are tipped over. If packaging is not intact, send for disposal. After opening, store the jar in a refrigerator at +4°C. PACKAGING MATERIALS: The product is packaged in clear glass jars intended for food use. The lids are made of steel with a food-grade rubber membrane that ensures the package is watertight and prevents direct contact of the product with metal. The packaging material is reusable and contains no plastic. The packaging is recyclable. VISUAL EXAMINATION : All the ingredients can be identified from the jar. In fact, you can see the onion cut into strips and the green bits of oregano, all wrapped in the golden color of the oil. OLFACTIVE EX AMINATION: Upon opening, one can immediately smell the fragrance of the oil, upon tasting, one tastes a flavor that almost seems like sauerkraut, instead it is onion.
