– Naturally crystallized Lucanian multi-flower honey . 100% Italian product from local wild plants, including acacia, clover, cherry trees , and many other native flowers. 500g jar. The honey from the Saluzzi Farm is produced with the utmost respect for nature, especially bees , whose work is essential not only to the production of this delicacy but also to the very existence of our planet. This is how Multi-Flower Honey is born. We are in the pristine hills of Basilicata, rich in plants and herbs , all of which contribute to making this an even more special product. A honey that respects bees. Their work is essential not only to the production of this delicacy but also to the very existence of our planet. It all begins with the tireless work of worker bees who transport nectar and honeydew to the hive, which are then stored in special cells. When the honey reaches a low moisture level, it is capped, meaning the bees seal the cells with wax. At this point, the honey is mature and ready to be harvested. The honey is then removed from the supers, uncapped, and honey extracted (using a special machine called a honey extractor). Filtering occurs (in which all residual wax and any other material remaining in the honey is trapped and eliminated). It is then decanted, skimmed, bottled, and stored. All these operations are performed in the company laboratory. The company, in keeping with its corporate ethics, prefers not to use any invasive techniques on the honey. It allows the crystallization process to occur naturally.
The result is a honey with an amber color and a sweet, intense flavor.
