Gaetano Adelfio’s “Primissima Scelta” bluefin tuna bottarga is a traditional Sicilian delicacy. Also known as “Mediterranean caviar,” it is obtained from the egg sacs of the bluefin tuna (Thunnus thynnus). Hand-processed, pressed, salted, and dried very slowly following the ancient traditions of the Marzamemi tuna fishery, this bottarga has an intense and bold flavor, perfect for enhancing pasta dishes or enjoying on crostini. Vacuum-packed to preserve its aroma and quality. Vacuum-packed in 150g, 200g, 400g, 500g, 1kg, and 2kg sizes.
