The San Felice Campogiovanni Il Quercione Brunello di Mont Riserva offers a first-class red wine in a swirled glass. It offers a wonderful, dense ruby color. Swirling the glass reveals great density and fullness, which is evident in the visible tears on the rim. On the nose, this San Felice red wine reveals a variety of blackberries. Furthermore, thanks to aging in small wooden barrels, additional aromas such as blueberry, blackcurrant, and pepper are added. The San Felice Campogiovanni Il Quercione Brunello di Mont Riserva presents itself to the drinker with a pleasantly dry finish. This red wine never appears coarse or lean, as one might expect from a wine in the Icon segment. Thanks to its fruity acidity, the Campogiovanni Il Quercione Brunello di Mont Riserva is extraordinarily fresh and lively on the palate. The finish of this red wine from the Tuscany region, more precisely the Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, captivates with a beautiful aftertaste. This powerful Italian red wine is made from Sangiovese grapes. After harvest, the grapes are quickly transported to the cellar, where they are carefully selected and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in small wooden barrels and a second fermentation in the bottle at controlled temperatures. After fermentation is complete, the powerful Campogiovanni Il Quercione Brunello di Mont Riserva is further aged for 60 months in French oak barrels. Ideal with mixed grills, game, mushroom or truffle dishes, and aged cheeses.
