A Brunello di Montalcino produced using traditional methods: naturally stabilized, it is unfiltered at bottling. Dry and smooth, it elegantly pairs with pasta dishes, grilled meats, game, and cheeses.
Grapes : 100% Sangiovese; Production area: Vineyards of the “Poggio Cerrino” estate (Montalcino – SI), at 500 m above sea level, with south-west exposure; Soil: Sandy-loam; Age of the vines : 35 years on average; Vinification : The grapes are fermented for over 20 days in wooden vats; Aging: Stored for 44 months in large Slavonian oak barrels. It does not undergo physical/chemical treatments; it is aged for over 4 months in bottle before being released for sale; Tasting notes : Intense and brilliant garnet red color. On the nose it is intensely vinous, with hints of ripe fruit, light vanilla. Full-bodied, harmonious, with hints of ripe forest fruit, tannic, long aftertaste; Food pairings: Red meat main courses, game, cheeses and cured meats, but also dry pastries; Serving temperature : 18-20°C; Alcohol content: 13.5% vol.
