ROSSO MONTALCINO BANDITELLA COL D’ORCIA V22 – Bruno Dalmazio

The Rosso di Montalcino Banditellla Col d’Orcia is an elegant red that expresses intriguing aromas of red fruit and a enveloping and intense sip. BIOLOGICAL.
Rosso di Montalcino Banditella Col d’Orcia is produced with organically grown grapes from the eponymous and highly suited (also for Brunello) Banditella vineyard, planted in 1998 on the Sant’Angelo hill overlooking the Orcia River with a pleasant southern exposure at 250-300 meters above sea level. After vinification with a medium-long maceration on the skins for 10-12 days in short, wide vats with daily pumping over and delestages to maintain the freshness of the fruit and extract tannins and color, the wine ages for 12 months in oak barriques and tonneaux. On the nose, it expresses deep and intriguing notes of berries, cherry, black cherry vanilla, and hints of toast. On the palate, it is full and enveloping, with dense and elegant tannins.
